Intumescent / Fire protection
We specialise in the application of intumescent paints, with 60, 90 and 120-minute fire protection. This type of coating provides a cost-effective as well as practical solution for fire protection and corrosion protection of structures made of alloys and steel, and can also be used in a decorative capacity.
Abrasive grit blasting is a surface treatment process by which an abrasive media is accelerated through a blasting nozzle by means of compressed air. Grit blasting is used to remove scale, rust or old paint from a number of sub straights and provides a surface profile for the effective adhesion of paint.

Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) Water Jetting
Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) water jetting (also known as hydro blasting) is the most powerful and environmentally sensitive cleaning techniques available to industry. Powered by a diesel engine or electric motor in a self-contained unit, and used in conjunction with specialist tooling and accessories UHP’ing can be the most effective solution when used for highly corroded surface preparation prior paint application. All our operators are members of the Water Jetting Association (WJA) and accredited with City & Guilds qualifications.
How it works - Intumescent paint increases in volume and reduces in density when exposed to heat. It is a passive fire retardant and fire protector which is able to insulate steel surfaces from further thermal attack.
